Fans of Wash it All Away have reason to celebrate—creator Mitsuru Hattori is bringing back the beloved seaside slice-of-life series for a special side story chapter. The new installment debuts on June 6 in Young Gangan magazine, complete with a color opening page.

Wash it All Away (Kirei ni Shite Moraemasu ka.), written and illustrated by Mitsuru Hattori, originally ran from July 2017 to June 2023 in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine, concluding with 10 collected volumes. The heartwarming manga follows Wakana Kinme, a young woman running a laundry service in the scenic resort town of Atami. Though she has no memory of her own past, Wakana dedicates her days to preserving the memories of others by caring for their cherished belongings.
The upcoming side story marks the series’ second post-conclusion chapter, following an earlier special published six months after the original run ended. Square Enix Manga & Books currently publishes the series in English, introducing new audiences to its soothing art and gentle narrative.
