The upcoming original anime Dusk Beyond the End of the World is filling in more of its cast just days before its debut. Fans now have seven new voice actors to look forward to, each bringing fresh characters into this already mysterious post-apocalyptic tale.

Story Synopsis

Dusk Beyond the End of the World (Towa no Yūgure) is a sci-fi, post-apocalyptic series produced by P.A. Works to celebrate its 25th anniversary. It tells the story of Akira Himegami, a man placed in cold sleep who wakes up 200 years later in a changed world. He discovers that a powerful organization named Owel now controls much of society. Believing his former love Towasa Ōmaki might still be alive, Akira sets out on a journey to find her—joined by Yūgure, an android who intriguingly proposes marriage to him.

With its premiere set for September 26, 2025, the series will air on the Super Animeism Turbo programming block across JNN affiliates like MBS and TBS. The anime will also stream internationally on HIDIVE, licensed by Sentai Filmworks.
