The hit light novel series I Became a Legend After My 10-Year-Long Last Stand is officially getting a TV anime. Announced on October 1, 2025, the adaptation will bring the story of survival, loyalty, and unexpected heroism to the screen for the first time.
Story Synopsis

Written by Kou Haku and illustrated by Tea, the series follows Luck, a soldier who single-handedly defends his kingdom’s final fortress for ten years against overwhelming odds. After his decade-long last stand, he is finally relieved from duty—only to discover that his heroism has transformed him into a living legend.
The story explores what happens after the battlefield ends: how a man who was prepared to die finds meaning in a new life, carrying the scars, wisdom, and burden of ten years of constant combat. Blending action, drama, and emotional depth, the series challenges the idea of what makes a hero.
