King’s Proposal follows the story of Saika Kuozaki, the most powerful witch alive — humanity’s last defense against monstrous entities bent on destruction. The anime adaptation of King’s Proposal was announced on October 25, 2025, during the “Fantasia Bunko Hōsōkyoku Aki no Dai Kanshasai” livestream event.
Originally written by Kōshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako, the light novel debuted in September 2021 under Fujimi Fantasia Bunko (Fujimi Shobo).
As of August 2025, eight volumes have been published in Japan, and Yen Press currently holds the English license for Western readers.
